Texas high school football practice is a week away, but predictions for 2026 have already been made.

Dave Campbell's Texas Football's annual magazine projected every district finish, along with regional and state-championship picks. A handful of teams from the Lubbock area are expected to be in those conversations.

Here's a look at DCTF's read on the South Plains for the upcoming season.
