After a thrilling season of high school girls lacrosse in the Wilmington area that featured new conference champions and deep playoff runs, it's time to vote for the 2026 StarNews Girls Lacrosse Player of the Year.
This spring brought plenty of memorable moments. New Hanover captured its first conference championship in program history, Hoggard advanced to the regional finals, and Topsail continued its postseason success with a trip to the state quarterfinals.

The 2026 StarNews Girls Lacrosse end-of-season Player of the Year poll features 25 nominees representing each of the area's nine programs. Voting is open through Thursday, June 25, at 11:59 p.m., and fans can vote as many times as they like. Cast your vote below.
