Conor McGregor's big return is just days away, and fellow former two-division UFC champion Henry Cejudo has offered his keys to victory for the Irishman.

In the main event of UFC 329, McGregor (22-6 MMA, 10-4 UFC) takes on Max Holloway in a welterweight contest. The event takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. It will be McGregor's first fight since a gruesome injury led to the end of his trilogy bout against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021, and also the second meeting with Holloway (27-9 MMA, 23-9 UFC).

McGregor and Holloway first fought at UFC Fight Night 26 on Aug. 17, 2013, in a featherweight bout. Nearly 13 years later and 25 pounds heavier, they'll meet again in a fight that has plenty of question marks. Cejudo put on his coaching hat to break down the matchup from McGregor's side to highlight areas that he should focus on in order to make sure he gets his hand raised for the first time since January 2020.

Here are McGregor's three keys to victory, according to "Triple C" (via X):

Attack the body

"Conor McGregor has to attack the body. Not just because Max Holloway has the best gas tank in the UFC, but it's because he has to slow him down. If you let Max keep his pace for 25 minutes, Conor McGregor, you're in trouble!"

Keep Holloway guessing

"Max is one of the best fighters in the world at making reads. If you give him the same look over and over, he will start walking you down. So, you have to pick your shots and make this guy miss, then make him pay with that left hand."

Make Holloway respect power early

"Conor has to make Max respect his power early. Holloway is the best when he's marching forward – throwing volume and forcing you to fight him at his pace. Conor cannot allow that to happen. He has to land something big in the first couple of rounds that makes Max think twice before coming forward."
