The Miami Heat reportedly intend to sign forward Andrew Wiggins to a three-year, $64 million extension, per ESPN’s Shams Charania.

The deal was negotiated by the forward’s agents at CAA Sports and includes a player option for the third season.

Wiggins, 31, has been in the league since 2014, when he was drafted first overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers. He never played with his original team, though, as he was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves in a three-team deal centered on Kevin Love going to Cleveland.

The forward spent five and a half seasons with Minnesota before he was traded to the Golden State Warriors. Wiggins was traded again in the 2024-2025 season to Miami as part of a deal that sent Jimmy Butler to Golden State.

2025-2026 was the first full season for Wiggins with the Heat. He played in 68 games and averaged 15.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists.

Wiggins is now under contract for three years, with Miami choosing to partner him with new acquisition Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was acquired on June 22 from the Milwaukee Bucks.

This story will be updated.
