What NBC has done with Sunday Night Football is nothing short of exquisite. From the aesthetically pleasing presentation to the product on the field, it all feels vital.
Play-by-play announcer Mike Tirico and color commentator Cris Collinsworth are an integral element of it all, and they'll be on the call for Super Bowl 60 as NBC is broadcasting the game. It's the first time Tirico and Collinsworth are calling the Super Bowl together, but does it mark their first time as individuals as well?
For Tirico, it is. The 59-year-old is making his Super Bowl debut after taking Al Michaels' spot as SNF's play-by-play announcer in 2022. It'll be quite a busy night for Tirico, who's expected to host NBC's Primetime in Milan Winter Olympics coverage immediately after the Super Bowl.
Collinsworth, though, is a Super Bowl veteran. This will mark his sixth time calling the game, with his last coming in 2022 when the Los Angeles Rams beat the Cincinnati Bengals. Collinsworth actually called Super Bowl 49, a game that's been top of mind for many this week as it saw the New England Patriots steal a win from the Seattle Seahawks.
Tirico and Collinsworth are arguably the NFL's best broadcasting duo, so the Super Bowl 60 broadcast should be a memorable one.
