It might be legitimately impossible to articulate just how awful this was. Honestly, it should be against the law to so horribly, deliberately, and maliciously destroy such a popular and loved IP.

I was wondering how it would do. I hadn't pulled the trigger on an episode yet, but maybe I should just walk on by.

Show is far from perfect at it's a new timeline (silver) so they didn't have to dance around all the video games. I think it has a ton of potential. There is just enough of HALO from the games in there to keep me interested. Some stuff I didn't like but some stuff I did. I am going to keep watching.

Finally took the plunge. On episode 4... I don't recall the game having this much story. I'm enjoying the series

IMO Season 2 is definitely better than Season 1.

We just finished S1 and we'll probably finish up S2 within the next week. I'm not sure what was so awful that it turned many off, but we aren't usually as picky as others. I love a good sci-fi show and this qualifies in my book.

It's definitely given me the itch to head back to the original game!

Halo 5 is still my favorite FPS by far, and I still play. (100% better than Infinite, which dumbed down everything to appeal to the least common denominator, which has been a disaster)

It was a tad confusing in the 1st season where they were going and the "purists" are never going to like it. Season 2 IMO is much better than season 1 and with many more nods to the game fans.
