GREEN BAY – Will Redmond has been hired as a college scout for the Green Bay Packers, the team announced Feb. 20.

Having lost vice president of player personnel Jon-Eric Sullivan to the Miami Dolphins,Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst added to the front office staff.

Redmond, not to be confused with the safety who played in Green Bay from 2018-20, joins the Packers after working in several roles in college football personnel departments.

Before joining the Packers, Redmond worked as the general manager at Auburn (2024-25), where he was hired by then-coach Hugh Freeze to help navigate college sports with NIL and the transfer portal. Auburn fired Freeze at the end of the 2025 season and Redmond was not retained by newly hired coach Alex Golesh.

During Redmond's two years on staff, Auburn had two top-10 signing classes and two top-20 transfer classes, including a top-10 transfer class ahead of the 2025 season.

Before working at Auburn, the Tennessee grad worked as director of player personnel at LSU (2021-23) and Middle Tennessee State (2016-18), and director of recruiting at Kansas (2019-20).

Redmond was honored as Player Personnel Director of the Year in 2022 by FootballScoop.com.
