I wish we could take him if he was available, but we wont. We will go defensive. But I love this kid and if he can stay healthy will bring a team along for the super bowl... Someday it just might be Marino , Elway, Leftwich etc...

I had prayed the Suns would take Amare Stoudemire or Nene Hilario. They took one.

Now I want Suggs or Leftwich, that's it.

Amare Stoudemire is the best Suns draft pick ever....hopefully the Cards can get a draft steal like Stoudemire.

Interesting:

But even though dropback types with limited mobility led the last four Super Bowl champions, the league still is mesmerized by a growing desire for more elusiveness at the position. Defenders are bigger, stronger and faster, and scouts see Leftwich, tall in the pocket, as an inviting target who could be subjected to a severe hammering. These scouts aren't convinced his feet are nifty enough to avoid a rush and buy enough time to unload passes. "A statue," says one.

The NFL is always in love with QBs. I don't see Palmer or Leftwich being around after the 4th pick. If the top 4 teams don't want these QBs, some other team will trade up to get them.

The player I see dropping to the Cards is A. Johnson WR, which I don't want the Cards to take.

The Cards will need luck so one of the good players will drop to them.

I read where one poster says we need to take so and so with our 1st pick, but if we take this other so and so I am going to shoot myself. The next person says taht if we don't take someone different that they are going to be really pissed. You know what - we are going to get a really good player at #6. I like Leftwich, I like Suggs, I like both DTs, I like the CB from Kansas State. No matter what at #6 we are going to get an outstanding NFL player and the Cardinals are going to be better next year than they were last year. Man I feel like my name should be Pollyanna.

I have a feeling Cincy will take Leftwich w/#1 - or make a trade w/someone who will take him #1.
