I REALLY wish the Packers had won. Not because I'm a pack fan, but I'd like to see their coordinators get hired for head coaching gigs.

Greg Roman is a big name, but like they said during the game, he basically was screwed for interviews because of their SB run last year.

Wouldn't mind at all seeing the Seahawks defensive coordinator get hired out of Seattle also, but I don't see them doing anything less than making a Super Bowl appearance this year.

Stupid Packers and their pathetic defense. They remind me so much of Atlanta. Offense all day, can't stop anyone.

Yep. I know Carolina beat them earlier this year but I just have no sense that Carolina can hang with the 9ers. I don't think Carolina is as good of a team as their record and first round bye suggest. I hope I'm wrong because I can't stand the whiners.

Carolina's defense is for real. The question is whether they can score enough points to beat SF.

I think your first sentence answered your question. They won't need to score as much with that D. Look at what Green Bay did with a weak D. They almost pulled it off.

Really? I think the guy is a genius - the 49ers offense is not that great without him. He basically does for Kaepernick what Shananhan did for Plummer in Denver - which is give him the best chance to succeed given his limitations.

And I would love to get rid of him from the 49ers

While the thought of an all NFC West final is attractive, I just can't stand the 49'ers or their fans.


As much grief as Eagles or Raider fans get, San Francisco Fans (Giants and 49'ers) are far, far worse.

Minor point but... SF beat GB 23-20 on a FG as time expired. Exactly the same as last week for the Cardinals vs. SF. I'm not disputing that GB has a below-average defense, especially without Clay Matthews, but i don't think this loss can be laid fully at the feet of GB's "pathetic defense".

It sure sucked to see Krapernick keep escaping for big gains, but no more than it sucked to see Boldin and Davis keep getting open in key situations vs. the Cardinals. SF is, unfortunately, a pretty good team with a lot of offensive weapons. It's tough to cover them all.

I thought Jones should of made that catch when Rodgers threw into

double coverage near the end zone. The ball went right through his

hands and hit him in the facemask. That was costly.
