Giants RB Cam Skattebo is cutting down on backflips. Here's why

New York Giants fans won't be seeing as much of running back Cam Skattebo's acrobatics this year – at least in training camp.

Skattebo told reporters at Giants training camp on Friday, July 31 that he's going to stop attempting backflips off of the field for now. His signature celebration became a hot topic earlier in July after a video of a failed backflip attempt – just months removed from a severe ankle injury – went viral.

"Obviously, I do some dumb things here and there," Skattebo said. "But I learn from it. My coach talked to me, told me how he felt, and I learned from it. Will I go do that backflip again? Probably not. We live and we learn, and we move on."
