New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart issued an ambitious vow for his team after watching the New York Knicks secure their first NBA championship in 53 years.

Dart attended the Knicks' title-clinching victory over the San Antonio Spurs in San Antonio on Saturday. Afterward, he spoke with comedian Tracy Morgan, a passionate supporter of both the Knicks and Giants. After a short back-and-forth, Dart set his bold new goal.

"We’ve got to double back New York," he told Morgan.

The comment comes as the Giants continue their rebuild under head coach John Harbaugh. Following a promising rookie campaign from Dart in 2025 and a challenging 4-13 season, optimism is building around the franchise as it prepares for the 2026 campaign.

Linebacker Kayvon Thibodeaux shared similar sentiments over the weekend, saying the "pressure is on" after the Knicks' title win.

The Giants have not won a Super Bowl since 2011, creating a long wait for another championship parade in New York. Dart's remarks highlight the elevated expectations surrounding the young quarterback and the current roster.

With the regular season opener against the Dallas Cowboys just months away, Dart's statement underscores his commitment to delivering a title to the Giants faithful, mirroring the Knicks' success.
