Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo didn't hold back when he commented on what happened between him and Tyrese Haliburton's dad. On Tuesday, the Bucks' season ended after they suffered a 119-118 overtime loss.
Haliburton's father, John, stepped onto the basketball court after the final buzzer. However, he was taunting Giannis, showing off his son's merchandise. The two got into a verbal exchange and had to be separated.
After the Greek Freak shook the hands of the Pacers players, he left the court. Antetokounmpo was asked what happened with Haliburton's father during his postgame presser. The nine-time All-Star called out John for his behavior on the court.

“I feel like that’s very, very disrespectful,” the 2021 Finals MVP said.
Giannis compared his late father's behavior to what he saw with Haliburton's. The Bucks star explained that he's happy for what the Pacers star has achieved. However, he believes what his dad did was unacceptable.
“I’m happy for his son and I’m happy that he’s happy for his son. That’s how you’re supposed to feel. But coming to me and disrespecting me, cursing at me, I think it’s totally unacceptable.”
Antetokounmpo tried to lead Milwaukee and extend the series. The star forward did everything with his 30 points, 20 rebounds and 13 assists. Without his co-star, Damian Lillard, Gary Trent Jr. answered the call and helped with his 33-point performance.
However, it wasn't enough as Antetokounmpo couldn't stop Haliburton from making the clutch layup late into overtime. The Pacers will face the Cleveland Cavaliers in the semifinals of the 2025 playoffs.
