The Philadelphia Phillies have unveiled the throwback uniforms they'll be wearing next month when they emerge from the cornfields of Dyersville, Iowa, to face the 'host' Minnesota Twins in MLB's Field of Dreams classic.
As the designated visiting team, the Phils will be sporting road grays, but with a script lettering across the chest the club wore from 1939-41. The red 'Phillies' logo has a navy blue outline, and the jersey and pants have red and navy blue piping around the collar, the sleeves and down the side of the pants.

The game, set for Aug. 13 at 7:30 p.m. (ET), is played on a constructed field where the 1989 movie's iconic baseball scenes were filmed. The field is a tourist site in the Midwest for baseball fans. The action can only be streamed on Netflix.
Two MLB games have been played at the Field of Dreams site in Dyersville, Iowa. The first was in 2021 when the Chicago White Sox defeated the New York Yankees 9-8. The second was in 2022 when the Chicago Cubs beat the Cincinnati Reds 4-2.
