NEW YORK − Gerrit Cole is back.
The Yankees ace is returning to the big-league mound for the first time since the 2024 World Series.
Cole, who missed the entire 2025 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery, is scheduled to make his season debut Friday night against the Tampa Bay Rays at Yankee Stadium, manager Aaron Boone said Tuesday afternoon.
