Nmecha gave Germany an early lead with a superb finish from the edge of the box and later won the penalty that Kai Havertz converted to make it 3-1. Constantly making intelligent runs from midfield into attacking areas, he registered a team-high four shots. The midfielder also completed 95% of his passes and impressed defensively, winning six of his eight duels.
