Germany defender Antonio Rüdiger closing in on new Real Madrid contract
Ahead of travelling to the World Cup with Germany, Antonio Rüdiger is in advanced talks with Real Madrid over a new contract.
According to Sky Germany, a full agreement on a new deal for the 33-year-old beyond the summer is expected soon, with the final contract details currently being reviewed.
Rüdiger has been at Real Madrid since 2022, when he joined the club from Chelsea on a free transfer.
Since then, he has made 182 appearances for the Spanish capital club.
The Berlin-born centre-back has featured 82 times for the German national team since making his debut in 2014.
