The German women's Bundesliga set an attendance record in the season just finished, with 653,750 fans watching the 182 matches, the German Football Federation (DFL) said on Wednesday.
That equals an average crowd of 3,592 and beats the previous high from the 2023-24 season when the average was 2,875.
The league, which featured 14 clubs for the first time instead of 12, was led in attendance by promoted side Union Berlin. An average of 8,208 spectators attended each home game at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei.
That is a league record, as is the total of 106,708 fans across the 13 Union home matches.
Champions Bayern Munich also helped swell the numbers by hosting Bayer Leverkusen in their season opener at the Allianz Arena in front of 57,762 - a record for an individual match in the German women's top flight.
The DFB is at loggerheads with clubs about who will run the league in the future.
