The German Cup final will continue to be played in Berlin's Olympic Stadium until at least 2030, the governing senate said on Thursday.
The administration for the interior and sport said that a five-year contract renewal is to be signed on February 5 by German Football Federation president Bernd Neuendorf, Berlin mayor Kai Wegner and other officials.
The talks for the period 2026-2030 were originally to be finalised last year but the DFB had called for better stadium entry procedures after partially chaotic scenes at last year's match.
The German Cup final has been played in the Olympic Stadium since 1985.
