Former Georgia Bulldogs basketball star guard Silas Demary was one of the country's top ranked transfers and has adapted well to his new team, the No. 3 UConn Huskies. Demary recently surpassed 1,000 career points and is playing 27.4 minutes per game for the Huskies.

Demary came up clutch in UConn's (20-1) recent overtime win over the Villanova Wildcats. Demary is averaging 10.4 points, 4.2 rebounds and 6.1 assists (tied for No. 25 in the country) per game. The junior guard is averaging career-best shooting efficiencies and has the best assist to turnover ratio in his career.

Demary is playing the best basketball of his career and is a big reason why UConn is on track to be a No. 1 seed in March Madness. His former team, Georgia, is still projected to make the NCAA Tournament.
