Former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Jaden Rashada is no longer planning to visit North Carolina anymore, according to Chris Hummer of 247Sports.

Rashada's journey in college football has been an adventurous one. Originally, he committed to the Florida Gators, but due to NIL disagreements resulting in a lawsuit, he asked to be released from his National Letter of Intent and signed with the Arizona State Sun Devils in 2023.

With the Sun Devils, he completed 44 of 82 passes for 485 yards, four touchdowns, and three interceptions in 2023. Rashada could've been in line for the Sun Devils starting job in 2024, but after losing it to Sam Leavitt, he decided to enter the transfer portal on April 18, 2024.

He chose to transfer to the Georgia Bulldogs on April 25. Rashada could've potentially earned some more starting experience when Carson Beck went down. However, he lost the backup spot to sophomore Gunner Stockton, who took over for Beck when he suffered an elbow injury in the SEC championship.

With Stockton and redshirt freshman Ryan Puglisi considered the two front-runners for the starting job, Rashada entered the transfer portal again on Jan. 5, 2025.

Rashada has also been in touch with Tulane, UConn, and Western Kentucky. However, it doesn't appear that any team in the Power Four conference team is looking to sign him to be their starter. Regardless, Rashada ranks as the No. 1 quarterback on the transfer portal and should land at a new school before the fall.
