Arizona State 1, UND 0 — Brasen Boser 1 (Bennett Schimek, Cruz Lucius) 7:19. Lucius flips a pass from behind the net to Schimek, who has space in the right circle. He feeds it to Boser at the point and the Minot product wire a shot past UND goalie Jan Špunar for his first goal of the season. Boser has three collegiate goals and two have come against his home state team.
Arizona State 2, UND 0 — Sam Alfano 4 (Ty Nash, Cruz Lucius) 9:20 (pp). Arizona State scores on its first power-play chance of the night — and its third power-play goal of the weekend — on a perfectly executed bumper play. Lucius gives the puck to Nash below the goal line and Nash pops it out to Alfano in the bumper. Alfano sneaks it inside the post for his fourth goal of the season.
Arizona State 2, UND 1 — Keaton Verhoeff 6 (Ellis Rickwood, Dylan James) 13:12 (pp). UND converts its first power-play chance of the net after Rickwood makes a power move to the net, setting off a scramble. Verhoeff finds it for his second goal of the weekend.
Arizona State 3, UND 1 — Logan Morrell 6 (Kyle Smolen, Joel Kjellberg) (pp). UND's penalty kill continues to reel this weekend as Arizona State scores its fourth goal with the man advantage when Morrell one-times a pass from Smolen past Špunar. It's three goals on 10 shots for the Sun Devils.
