Tennessee softball is hosting a fourth straight NCAA super regional for the first time in program history.

The No. 7 seed Lady Vols (45-10) swept their NCAA regional, and they'll face No. 10 seed Georgia (41-18) in a three-game series at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium that begins May 21 (7 p.m. ET, ESPN2). The winner will advance to the Women's College World Series.

The only other time in program history that Tennessee went to four straight super regionals was from 2012-15, but it didn't host all four.

The Lady Vols beat Northern Kentucky 3-1 to open the regional before winning two straight games over Virginia. They beat the Cavaliers 7-5 on May 16 and 5-1 in the regional final on May 17.

Tennessee has been to the WCWS two of the last three seasons, making runs to the semifinals both times. Before 2023, the Lady Vols hadn't been to a super regional since 2019 and they hadn't been back to Oklahoma City since 2015.
