Let's get a game thread started.

The Suns play the Celtics tonight at 5:30 PM Arizona Time. Per Paul Coro at azcentral here are tonight's starting lineups and a pregame review. See link below.

C: Marcin Gortat ... Jermaine O'Neal

PF: Markieff Morris ... Kevin Garnett

SF: Grant Hill ... Paul Pierce

SG: Ronnie Price ... Ray Allen

PG: Steve Nash ... Rajon Rondo

Key Celtics injury: Rondo (right wrist) will be a game-time decision. Keyon Dooling (knee) is out.

Key Celtics reserves: Brandon Bass, Mickael Pietrus, Avery Bradley, E'Twaun Moore, Greg Stiemsma, Avery Bradley.

Tonight features two older teams playing each other. It will be a tough and interesting chore for Morris to guard Garnett. I fear the referees will give Garnett all the calls. I understand Rondo may be out tonight.

Watching my first game of the season. Wow, Gortat has some good footwork and is smooth with the ball.

Morris is really hurting the Suns with 4 TOs. When he has a shot, he hesitates and then throws the ball away.

I have to admit that it is comforting to know that the Knicks AND the Celtics suck even worse than the Suns do.

Dang I missed the game. Always fun watching Garnett lose. Come to think of it I missed most of the Knick game too... Maybe I'll quit watching the Suns for a while, it seems to help them.

Alvin Gentry deserves credit for finding the right combinations to beat the Knicks (back to back game) and Celtics (3rd game in 4 days) on the road with the unspectacular roster management gave him.

Hard to disagree with that. However there is some pretty horrible basketball being played by every team. The good teams have looked bad at times. The bad teams are impossible to watch.

The lock out surely has caused problems.

Inferior product for the fans.

The top 1% wins. The bottom 99% loses.

Capitalism has been stretched too far.

Hard to disagree with that. However there is some pretty horrible basketball being played by every team. The good teams have looked bad at times. The bad teams are impossible to watch.

The lock out surely has caused problems.

Teams seem to purposely be taking days off as a strategy move. The Chicago game seemed evidence of that. Also, it seems that some of our wins were not about us being better, but the particular night in which we caught that team.

This seems like the year to tank. The good news about this win is that Gortat looked awesome. The bad news is that the Celtics might have a better pick in the draft this year than we will.

Knowing Ainge, that is not an accident.

I don't get this comment. What makes it a child's game? Is it all the travel? Is it the intense scrutiny from fans and media? Is it the year round extreme diet and exercise regimen necessary to maintain the superb conditioning most of these athletes possess? It's no more a child's game than anything is. I don't feel sorry for these guys but it does an injustice to them to suggest what they do is nothing more than a child's game.
