I really hope Clarke can pitch somewhat decently today. He always finds a a way to get ahead in the count, then ends up walking guys or out something right down the middle for them to blast

Marte has been battling a small groin injury. A day game after a night game would be a logical spot to rest it.

Most teams will also switch catchers in a day games situation like this.


The most games any catcher caught last year was 140. Only 8 catchers last year got enough at bats to qualify for the batting title.
