The Buffalo Bills swung a trade for Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore this offseason, and as a result, they don’t have the 60th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. They did get a pick back in 2026, so their total stays the same.

Now that we are at the draft, let’s take a look at what the Bears did with their trade compensation and what the Bills did with what they got back from Chicago.

Original terms of the DJ Moore trade between the Bills and Bears

  • Bills receive: DJ Moore, 2026 fifth-round pick (No. 165 overall)
  • Bear receive: 2026 second-round pick (60 overall)

What did the Bills do with their draft pick from the DJ Moore trade?

The Bills pick 165th overall. We will update this post when that selection is made.

What did the Bears do with their draft pick from the DJ Moore trade?

The Bears pick at 60 overall. They traded out with the Tennessee Titans and will pick at 69 and 144. We will update then. At 69, the Bears selected Stanford TE Sam Roush.

How did DJ Moore perform for the Bears?

Moore spent three seasons with the Bears, but his production declined each year as he cycled through new quarterbacks and offensive playcallers. In 2023, he had career highs with 96 catches, 1364 yards, and 8 touchdowns. He dropped just below 1000 yards in 2024 and bottomed out at 682 in 2025.

Moore slots in as a starting receiver for the Bills and Buffalo will certainly get him more targets than Chicago.
