Three-star wide receiver Majay Thompson just finished his official visit with the FSU Seminoles, and he is now in decision mode ahead of his scheduled commitment on Friday, June 19.
While FSU got the final visit, he is also considering the Alabama Crimson Tide, Georgia Bulldogs, and Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Thompson is from Shelby, North Carolina, and officially visited all four of his finalists.
It was his second time visiting FSU this year, with his first coming in April when they extended him a scholarship offer. Despite the recent offer, he has been impressed by their recruitment of him.
"Honestly, FSU, they've been in the same spot in my recruitment, because at the end of the day, FSU just been themselves," Thompson told Chris Nee of Noles247. "They aren't going to try to do extra just to be what other schools are. That is one thing I like about FSU, they just keep it real, honest."
Thomposon had a productive junior season at Crest High School, helping them go 13-2. He caught 53 passes for 865 yards and 13 touchdowns, averaging 16.3 yards per catch. He also returned a punt for a touchdown.
FSU is expected to take a smaller wide receiver class this year after signing a large class in 2026. They have one commitment in Sean Green, and Thompson could be a nice running mate with him if FSU can close the deal, something that will be tough to do.
