The FSU Seminoles are the No. 10 overall seed in the 2026 NCAA Baseball Tournament, setting them up to host the Tallahassee Regional. The Seminoles went 38-17 during the regular season and will be making their 62nd appearance in the tournament.
It is FSU's 3rd straight season hosting a regional after failing to make the tournament in 2023. They advanced to the Super Regional round last year, losing to the Oregon State Beavers in a three-game series. The Seminoles are 211-136 overall in the tournament and 158-63 in Regional play.
FSU will host the No. 2-seeded Northern Illinois Huskies, No. 3-seeded Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, and No. 4-seeded St. John's Red Storm. The Tallahassee Regional will start on May 29 and last until June 1. FSU's first game will be against St. John's, a start time has not been revealed.
The Seminoles were looking to earn a top eight seed in the tournament, setting them up to host a Super Regional if they can win the Tallahassee Regional. Those hopes were dashed when they went 0-1 at the ACC Tournament, losing to the Pittsburgh Panthers.
FSU's offense is scoring 7.2 runs per game and hitting .282 as a team. The pitching staff is holding opponents to 4.4 runs per game and a .224 batting average, striking out 580 batters in 469.1 innings.
