We've already reached the second grand slam of the year, and it's surely going to bring some intense competition. The 2026 French Open returns to Paris this week.

The draw is now official, and with defending champion Carlos Alcaraz pulled from the tournament due to injury, the major storyline will follow Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic. The two powerhouses sit on opposite halves of the draw, and could potentially meet in the final on June 6.

World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka and defending champion Coco Gauff headline the women's side, though the two have drawn into the same half. Coming off a defeat in the final at the Italian Open last weekend, Gauff will face fellow American Taylor Townsend in the first round. Iga Swiatek, Elena Rybakina and Jessica Pegula will be amongst other women competing.

Who will excel at Roland-Garros?
