Georgia soccer fans could have an extra reason to cheer during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
A new promotion announced by Tilray Beer and BrewDog says fans may be able to claim free pints at participating locations, including Terrapin Beer Co.'s brew pub in Athens, if one of three national teams reaches the tournament final.
The promotion would only be activated if the men's national team from the United States, England or Scotland advances to the World Cup championship match, according to the announcement.
Here's what else to know.
If one of the eligible teams reaches the final, BrewDog and Tilray say they will open a £1 million bar tab beginning July 20, the day after the championship match.
Fans wearing a U.S., England or Scotland team jersey could then receive up to two free pints at participating locations while supplies and funding last.
The offer would be available on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited to participating Tilray-owned venues. In Georgia, the listed location is Terrapin's brew pub in Athens.
Athens is one of several U.S. cities with a participating Tilray-owned brewpub. The promotion comes as soccer interest continues to build ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be played across North America.
Atlanta is scheduled to host multiple World Cup matches, including a semifinal, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
According to the announcement, the promotion is intended to create a large-scale celebration tied to one of the world's biggest sporting events, with watch parties and soccer-themed gatherings planned at participating venues.
For now, the free beer remains conditional.
The offer only takes effect if the United States, England or Scotland reaches the World Cup final. Fans would also need to wear an eligible team jersey and be of legal drinking age to participate.
Redemption is capped at two free pints per person. Tilray and BrewDog said additional details about participating locations and redemption procedures would be announced if the promotion is triggered.
