We're 39 days away from the opening match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. And Fox's promotional team did not hold back with hyping up the U.S. men's national team's chances in the tournament.

Hey, they can dream, right?

What was once thought of a "golden generation" for the USMNT to contend at the 2026 World Cup, has largely developed into a deeply flawed but talented group of players. The USMNT made some noise at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar before losing to Netherlands in the Round of 16. But since then, it's been a struggle for key players at both club and country.

AI Slop crowd aside, is the video amazing? Absolutely. Is it a totally unrealistic fever dream of a video? Also, yes. The most realistic part is that somehow Cristian Roldan will be on the field.

But it does succeed in totally getting me fired up for the World Cup. That's the point.
