Nope - recognize there are issues with Kyler, but Brissett is a career backup for a reason. As long as we have the current coaching staff, it doesn't matter.

I do like pointing out the hypocrisy of the Brissett-stans who keep ignoring all the same things that they would criticize Kyler for that keep happening.
Name one person who thinks he is a long-term QB answer on this team. I'll wait. The Brissett love comes from the complete KM ineptitude. The complete and utter shambles that is KM at QB.

Exactly. The stans are always chirping that no one else would be any better in our offense. People were saying we had bad WRs. Suddenly Micheal Wilson, MHJ, and Zay Jones are making catches because they have a QB that can read defenses, process where to throw the ball, step up into the pocket, etc. and it shows what we aren't getting with Kyler.

Yup. For over a year we’ve heard that you could Mahommes, Lamar, Josh, Stafford, etc in this offense and it would be no better than with Kyler… meanwhile, you put a journeyman QB in there without James Conner and immediately it’s averaging more ppg and ypg this season and is on par if not slightly better than last season with Conner… again, with even less talent this season.

I thought not trusting the quarterback was only an issue for Kyler?

Well, at least according to half the board here
It’s not an issue of trust. The Cards IOL has been comparatively weak, though Hernandez return helps a little. The timeout and the substitution tipped they were on to a sneak. Why play into there hands. Does anyone really think the Cards have a dominant Oline. Like a real leader Brissett took responsibility for the failure. Success comes from the push the line generates, not the QB.
