Aiden Derkack, a four-star shooting guard in the 2026 class, has committed to Providence, he told Rivals.

The 6-foot-5 small forward out of SPIRE Academy (OH) ultimately chose the Friars over Dayton and USC, but also received offers from Villanova, VCU, Indiana, Maryland, Oklahoma State, Xavier, and several others.

Derkack is ranked as the No. 66 overall player in the class, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking. He’s also the No. 25 small forward and No. 5 player in the state of Ohio.

As a junior at Colonia High School (NJ), Derkack averaged 27 points and eight rebounds per game.
