The SWAC has announced the remainder of the broadcast schedule for Jackson State football's 2026 season.
The Tigers will have four games broadcast on SWAC TV this season. Those games are their home matchup with Tuskegee (Sept. 19), road games against Grambling State (Oct. 10) and Bethune-Cookman (Oct. 24), and the Gulf Coast Challenge against Alabama A&M (Oct. 3).
SWAC TV is a free online streaming platform for SWAC athletic events. The app can be downloaded on Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Google Play and Android TV. The network's content is also available online at tv.swac.org.
The Tigers will play five games on ESPN networks, including its season opener against Tennessee State at the John A. Merritt Classic in Nashville on Aug. 29. The game will air on ESPN+, but the start time has not been announced.
The Tigers will also have two games air on HBCUGO. The first of these is their home opener vs. Edward Waters on Sept. 5 (6 p.m. CT, HBCUGO).
Jackson State is the reigning SWAC East champion. The Tigers finished 9-3 last season after losing to Prairie View A&M in the SWAC Championship game
