The NFL draft board is beginning to crystallize and Florida's name appears more than once near the top.
In his updated top 100 rankings for the 2026 NFL draft, The Athletic's analyst Dan Brugler places four Gators among the nation's top prospects, led by defensive tackle Caleb Banks at No. 24 overall. The list, built primarily from 2025 game tape and all-star evaluations, offers what Brugler called "a good frame of reference as we count down the days until draft weekend."
Banks' placement inside the top 25 underscores Florida's continued defensive relevance in the SEC trenches. Interior disruptors with his size and movement traits rarely linger long on draft boards.
But Florida's presence doesn't stop there.
Cornerback Devin Moore (No. 73), center Jake Slaughter (No. 83) and offensive tackle Austin Barber (No. 85) also cracked the Top 100 — a sign of roster balance and developmental progress.
The dual inclusion of Slaughter and Barber strengthens a growing narrative: Florida's offensive line is producing NFL-caliber talent. That matters in recruiting rooms as much as it does on draft weekend.
Brugler cautioned that "some fluctuation" could occur following combine testing and team feedback, but the early positioning speaks clearly.
For a program measured as much by draft success as by wins, four top-100 prospects reflect something larger than individual achievement.
It signals structural stability and a pipeline that's flowing once again.
