LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Kentucky Sports Radio reports Saturday that the FBI arrested former University of Kentucky guard Kerr Kriisa.
The 25-year-old’s arrest is in connection with a multimillion-dollar fraud scheme dating back to his time at the University of West Virginia. He played with the Mountaineers during the 2023-24 season before transferring to Kentucky in the offseason.

Kriisa will be extradited to West Virginia, with a court hearing scheduled for next week.
Kriisa played for four different schools during his six-year college basketball career. He spent his first three at Arizona, and one season at West Virginia, Kentucky and Cincinnati.
In his lone season at UK, Kriisa averaged 4.4 points and 3.8 assists per game. He played in just nine contests before fracturing his foot and undergoing season-ending surgery.

On Monday, June 29, it was announced that Kriisa would be playing for Kentucky’s Alumni team, “La Familia,” in TBT, but according to the team, he will now no longer be competing.
