A former Pittsburgh Steelers running back has been linked to an AFC North rival as his next potential landing spot.

According to Bleacher Report’s Moe Moton, ex-Steelers running back Najee Harris, who left Pittsburgh for the Los Angeles Chargers in 2025 free agency, could sign with the Cincinnati Bengals and form a formidable running back trio with Chase Brown and Samaje Perine. Harris was also linked to the Green Bay Packers as another potential landing spot.

Harris, who was selected by the Steelers with the 24th overall pick in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, found tremendous success early in his NFL career, recording four consecutive 1,000-yard rushing seasons with Pittsburgh.

Unfortunately, things went downhill fast for Harris after he left the Steel City for Los Angeles, as his eye was injured in a freak fireworks mishap during the 2025 offseason. Sadly, Harris also suffered a torn Achilles in only his third regular-season game with the Chargers.

Harris has had a tremendous recovery process over the past several months, however, and if healthy, he could join the Bengals and see his former Steelers twice a season.
