On Friday, former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Levi Wallace announced via his social media that he was retiring after just seven seasons in the league. Wallace played in Pittsburgh in 2022 and 2023. He appeared in 18 games and notched six starts. Wallace had a career-best four interceptions in 2022 and followed it up with two more in 2023.

Wallace signed with the Steelers as a free agent in 2022. He signed a two-year, $8 million contract after playing his first four seasons with the Buffalo Bills. Wallace joined the Bills in 2018 as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Alabama.

Wallace's best game as a Steelers came on September 24, 2023. The Steelers played the Las Vegas Raiders. Wallace had two interceptions in the game, including the game-sealing pick while in coverage against Davante Adams. This was one of two game-winners Wallace had with Pittsburgh. In Week 10 of the 2022 season, Wallace got another huge interception to preserve the lead and seal the win.
