Three former Cincinnati Reds were among the 10 biggest 2026 MLB All-Star Game snubs, according to The Athletic's Johnny Flores Jr.

New York Mets relief pitcher Luke Weaver was one of Flores' five National League snubs, and Boston Red Sox starter Sonny Gray and Tampa Bay Rays starter Nick Martinez were included among Flores' American League snubs.

Weaver posted a 6.87 ERA in 21 appearances for Cincinnati in 2023. This season, Weaver has a 1.95 ERA in 35 appearances in his first season for the Mets.

The Reds released Weaver in August 2023.

Gray, a 2019 All-Star for the Reds, was 23-20 with a 3.49 ERA in three seasons with Cincinnati. Gray is 10-1 with a 2.61 ERA in 16 starts in his first season for the Red Sox.

The Reds traded Gray and pitcher Francis Peguero to the Minnesota Twins in 2022 for pitcher Chase Petty.

Martinez is 7-2 with a 2.61 ERA in 17 starts in his first season for the Rays. He was 21-21 with a 3.83 ERA in 82 appearances over the previous two seasons for Cincinnati.

The Reds granted Martinez free agency at the end of the 2025 season.
