A former Carolina Panthers quarterback is on the move.

As announced on Sunday afternoon, the United Football League's Birmingham Stallions have traded Matt Corral to the Orlando Storm. Corral, who spent his first professional campaign as a member of the Panthers, is headed to Orlando alongside defensive end Amani Bledsoe in exchange for fellow ex-NFL quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson.

Carolina selected Corral, a standout at Ole Miss, in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He missed out on what would haven been his true rookie season later that summer, after sustaining a Lisfranc injury during a preseason outing against the New England Patriots.

The Panthers waived Corral the next summer. He went on to pick up stints with the Patriots, Minnesota Vikings and Stallions.

In four games this season, Corral has completed 71 of his 110 throws for 769 yards, five touchdowns and four interceptions.
