A former Marquette University track and field athlete accused of having sex with a 13-year-old girl has been charged with additional sex crimes after another teenage victim came forward, court records say.

William Waterstradt, 21, of the village of Allouez, near Green Bay, now faces four felony charges in Sheboygan County Circuit Court, in addition to 12 felony charges in Langlade County.

Waterstradt's Sheboygan County charges were filed Jan. 28, as the Marquette Wire first reported. In that case, he is charged with second-degree sexual assault of a child, using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, possession of child pornography and exposing genitals or intimate parts to a child.

A criminal complaint for that case says investigators believe Waterstradt "traveled to several different jurisdictions within the State of Wisconsin to have sexual encounters with underage girls under the guise that he was 16 or 17 years old."

In the Langlade County case, Waterstradt is charged with three counts of second-degree sexual assault of a child, one count of sexual exploitation of a child, three counts of using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, two counts of child enticement for sexual contact, and three counts of exposing genitals or intimate parts to a child.

The second victim, a 15-year-old girl, came forward after seeing news coverage of Waterstradt's arrest in Langlade County and realizing his real identity and age, according to the Sheboygan County complaint.

Waterstradt was a senior at Marquette in the 2025-26 school year. His attorney, Jonathan LaVoy, told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that Waterstradt has since withdrawn from the university.

According to Marquette University Athletic's website, Waterstradt was on the track and field team during the 2024-25 season. Prior to that, he ran track at Northern Michigan University, and attended De Pere High School.

Waterstradt is currently being held at the Langlade County Jail on a $500,000 cash bond, according to court records. He waived his preliminary hearing for the Langlade County case on Jan. 21, entered not guilty pleas, and has a scheduling conference in that case set for 10 a.m. March 23. His initial court appearance for the Sheboygan County case has not yet been scheduled, court records indicate.

Waterstradt was arrested in January after a 13-year-old girl in Langlade County told law enforcement about her interactions with a person investigators identified as Waterstradt.

In that case, the girl said she began communicating over Snapchat in July 2025 with who she believed was a 17-year-old boy named Connor O'Neill. The girl said "Connor" shared sexual photos, and the two met up in person for sexual contact on three occasions, all in or near the Langlade County town of Evergreen, according to a criminal complaint.

Investigators identified "Connor" as 21-year-old Waterstradt through a review of Snapchat, emails, photos and location data. They also found messages between Waterstradt and the13-year-old in which Waterstradt acknowledged the girl's age and that they had sexual intercourse, the complaint says.

While going through Snapchat records, investigators determined Waterstradt claimed to be a 16- or 17-year-old named Connor in conversations with at least eight different accounts, according to the complaint.

Later in January, the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office was contacted by the former stepmother of a 15-year-old girl who said she was watching the news with the girl when they saw a story about Waterstradt's Langlade County charges. The woman said the teen disclosed that she had sex with Waterstradt in July 2025 while believing he was 17, according to the complaint for the Sheboygan County case.

Sheboygan County investigators were informed by a Langlade County Sheriff's Office detective about evidence from "several different agencies" that Waterstradt "had sexual intercourse with underage girls in those other jurisdictions," the complaint says. The detective shared the review of Snapchat records Langlade County had received, which included a video Waterstradt took of he and the 15-year-old having sex.

The 15-year-old girl told investigators she began chatting with who she believed to be 17-year-old Connor O'Neill around May or June 2025. She received sexual photographs from Waterstradt through the app, then met up and had sexual contact with him in July 2025.

The teen said shortly after, Waterstradt sent her videos of him having sex with other girls, the complaint said.

In an interview with investigators, Waterstradt admitted to creating and using a fake Snapchat account to talk with underage girls and have sexual contact with them, according to the complaint.
