Former New York Jets offensive coordinator Tanner Engstrand has found a new job before he has even been replaced.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Atlanta Falcons are bringing Engstrand on board. He will be the team's passing-game coordinator on offense:

New York head coach Aaron Glenn decided to part ways with Engstrand on Jan. 27.

It was a later offseason move considering the Jets did not make the postseason, and yet, did not fire Engstrand at the end of the regular season.

Under Engstrand, the Jets were not a good offense. The team finished the 2025 season ranked 29th in both total offense (263.6 yards per game) and scoring offense (17.6 points per game).

However, the personnel and injuries he worked with make that more understandable.

Jets Wire will continue to provide updates throughout the 2026 offseason.
