Former Georgia Bulldogs cornerback Ondre Evans has signed with the NC State Wolfpack out of the NCAA transfer portal. Evans is a former four-star recruit that suffered a torn ACL injury during the spring. He did not appear in any Georgia games during the 2025 college football season.

Evans played high school football for Christ Presbyterian Academy in Nashville, Tennessee, and will have four years of eligibility with the Wolfpack. He redshirted in 2024 and missed the 2025 season with a knee injury.

The 5-foot-11, 190-pound defensive back is a former track athlete and has excellent speed. Evans will look to return to full health and earn playing time at NC State. The Wolfpack have lost a lot of talent to the transfer portal.

Nineteen total players have left NC State so far including running back Hollywood Smoothers, wide receiver Terrell Anderson and offensive tackle Jacarrius Peak. The Wolfpack have just five incoming transfers as on Jan. 9.

Evans is one of five Georgia defensive backs to enter the transfer portal. Evans along with Joenel Aguero, Daniel Harris, Jaden Harris (Kansas) and Adrian Maddox have all entered the portal, which closes on Jan. 16.
