Not long after Phoenix traded away former Blue Devil Grayson Allen, the Suns added another Duke alum, Luke Kennard. With the beginning of free agency Tuesday evening, the Suns acted quickly, signing the league's most efficient shooter in Kennard. Kennard inked a two-year $13 million deal with a player option for year two, which seemed a bit low considering his shooting prowess and strong playoff production.

Kennard led the league in 3-point percentage last season for the third time in his career, as the two-year Blue Devil holds a career 44.2% success rate from beyond the arc. Kennard is currently second all-time in NBA history when it comes to 3-point percentage, as his 44.2% trails only Steve Kerr (45.4%). Next season will be Kennard's 10th year in the league with his sixth different franchise. In 538 career games the former No. 12 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft is averaging 9.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 0.6 steals.
