The Western Conference Semifinals began for the Oklahoma City Thunder Tuesday night as they squared off against the Los Angeles Lakers. That meant former Duke guard Jared McCain was in action, coming off the bench for one of the deepest teams in the NBA.
When subbed in, McCain got to work right away, leading the second unit in scoring by knocking down four triples in his first 10 minutes of play.
McCain only played 15 minutes in total but finished with an impressive line of 12 points on 4-for-5 shooting from downtown in addition to two rebounds and two assists.
With the Thunder taking an early 1-0 series lead, McCain may have earned some more playing time from head coach Mark Daigneault in matchups to come.
