Former Indianapolis Colts' linebacker Anthony Walker Jr. has announced on his Instagram page that he is retiring from the NFL.
Walker played a total of nine seasons in the NFL, spending time with the Colts, Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
"Thank you football for 26 years of blood, sweat and tears," Walker wrote in his post, via ESPN.
Walker is a former fifth-round draft pick by the Colts in 2017, having spent four seasons in Indianapolis, appearing in 57 games, which included 48 starts.
As a member of the Colts, Walker recorded three interceptions, 11 pass breakups, a forced fumble, and tallied 343 total tackles.
Walker returned to the Colts last season, spending most of the year on the practice squad before being signed to the Bucs' active roster in December.
Following the 2020 season, Walker signed with the Browns, where he played for three seasons, appearing in 28 games. The 2024 season was then spent with Miami and the 2025 season with Tampa Bay.
Walker finished his career with four interceptions, 21 pass deflections, and two forced fumbles, along with 581 tackles. His most productive year came in 2019 with the Colts and included 124 tackles and an interception.
