First, this is my first time posting since the game, so I appologize if this has already been posted.

Let me just say that I loved the win on Sunday and in no way do I wish we had lost so we could have claimed the #1 pick. For those of you who do wish we lost, lets just think about this.

In this win we gained so many things. It tought this young team that great things can happen when you fight and play inspired football while facing overwhelming odds. It showed them that you must continue to fight, even through the worst circumstances and in doing that, you might just pull off a miracle on any given sunday.

It pumped life, confidence and thoughness into the youngest, most inexperianced team in the leauge. That will surely help them tremendously next year.

McCown showed us that he is an NFL caliber QB, IN ONLY HIS THIRD START! 11-11 for two TD's in the final 5 minutes of the game, in crunch time. McCown is Clutch, and as his talent is refined and the game starts to slow down for him he will only get better.

With the emergence of McCown, he showed AZ there is no need to draft a QB with our first pick. And on a team like the Cardinals, thats only a good, no it's a GREAT thing, because we now know we have one less position to fill. We can now use that draft pick to draft a potentialy dominant DE/DT/CB/WR or OL.

The bottom line is, in only his second season, and Third start, McCown has given AZ hope. Hope, of games where the outcome isn't decided in the first half. Hope, for games where the Cardinals may win. Hope, for the chance to shed our old skin and emerge with a new and fresh look with new and fresh ways. Hope, of a brighter future. McCown has shown the entire team that he can be the guy. He has gained their trust, in only his third start.

If we drafted Manning and he had a game like this in his third start, where he went 11-11 with 2 TD's in the final 5 minutes while driving our team down the field and scoring the game winning TD on a seemingly impossible play, we would all be yelling "Franchise QB" at the top of our lungs. Why? Because of his name? Let me ask you this, what is in a name? A rose would smell as sweet by any other name, would it not? Ladies and gentlemen, there is a rose blooming in AZ, his name is Josh McCown.
