We are now in July which means fall camp is right around the corner. The mystery with any team this time of year is what they will get out of their true freshmen class.

This time last year I think a lot of people thought Dakorien Moore would contribute, but I don’t think any of us saw Jordon Davison, Dierre Hill Jr, and Brandon Finney contributing as much as they did.

With that I wanted to get the fan bases thoughts on who they think will contribute this season. Instead of getting people to take a stab at individual players I thought we should get our fans thoughts from a position group perspective. First with the Defense.

Whether it’s because you have a gut feeling about a particular guy or see a need that needs to be filled, which defensive position group do you think is most likely to have a true freshmen contribute in 2026?


Conversely which position group would you be most surprised if a true freshmen contributed meaningfully in 2026? Could be because the room has a lot of proven options or there isn’t a true freshmen that is readily available in 2026?
