Folarin Balogun was one of the breakout stars of this year’s World Cup after he guided the USA to the Round of 16, where they eventually lost 4-1 to Belgium. He was their top scorer in the tournament with three goals.

As his stock increased dramatically after performing well for the Stars and Stripes, Balogun announced on Monday that he has signed with Klutch Sports Group.

“Folarin Balogun is one of the most talented and influential players in global football today,” founder and CEO Rich Paul said in a statement. “His relentless ambition and cultural impact represent the standard of excellence we hope to continue to bring to the sport. We are incredibly proud to welcome him to KLUTCH and excited about everything we can build together.”

Klutch entered the football business two years ago by acquiring European football agency ROOF. However, Balogun became the first footballer to sign directly with Klutch itself. The renowned sports agency represents some of the biggest names in sports, such as LeBron James, A’ja Wilson, and Jalen Hurts.

AS Monaco seem ready to cash in and have set their asking price at €50 million, which will ensure they’ll get a €20 million profit from their original investment when they pried him away from Arsenal in 2023.
