Feyenoord: why is the Dutch club training in Belgium?
Feyenoord Rotterdam is currently training in Tubize, Belgium, nearly 140 km from Rotterdam. The reason: Raheem Sterling has not yet received his work permit for the Netherlands.
The English winger, who has played for Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Arsenal, has signed until the end of the season. To keep him fit and help him integrate with his new teammates, coach Robin van Persie has decided to temporarily move training sessions to Belgium.
