Ferrari boss Fred Vasseur will miss qualifying for the Monaco Grand Prix on medical grounds.
The team said the 58-year-old Frenchman will “remain under observation at a local medical facility” but did not provide any details on the nature of his condition.
A statement from the Italian team on Saturday read: “Fred Vasseur will not be present at the circuit today.
“Following some medical checks, Fred will remain under observation at a local medical facility.
“No further medical information will be provided.
“We wish Fred a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him back at the track soon.”
